The KYN is a Denver-based collective that blurs the spiritual lines between producer, artist, and band. Their sound fuses the classic songwriting of pioneering musicians like Stevie Wonder, Curtis Mayfield, and The Beatles with the heavy handed chords of Herbie Hancock and 90’s R&B. Behind every raw love song and ear-candy hook they produce is a underbelly of harmony that comes from a communal love of jazz, soul, and barbershop quartet.

The KYN started in the home studio of Denver-based multi-instrumentalist, Callum Bair, who built a reputation as a go to support musician and producer for some of the biggest R&B, Gospel, Jazz and Rock acts in and out of Colorado. With a desire to create a collective that shared his love of producing, writing, and arranging, he enlisted the help of his multi-instrumentalist musical family to create a unified cosmic sound. The KYN features Brionne Aigné (B.E.T.’s Next Big Thing), Halle Tomlinson (The Voice), and Matt Campbell (Samecloth, Campbell Collective), all of whom are producers in their own right. What started as a band of unified musicians, ended in the intangible bond of a musical Kinship, and from there the KYN was born.
